Day 1: Amman – Dana – Feynan
Our driver/ guide will meet you in the morning and continue to Dana Nature Reserve to start hiking from the village all the way to the end of Feynan canyon. This magnificent downhill trail (14km; 5–6hr) is an easy walk passing from the lush green gardens of Dana through increasingly wild and desolate terrain to end at Feynan. Dinner and overnight camping in Feynan.
Day 2: Feynan – Wadi Araba view – Petra
Breakfast then we will drive from Wadi Arava to Petra. Upon arrival, we will arrange your entrance fees and hire for you a private English speaking site guide to explore the lower part of the city for 2.5 to 3 hours. With the guide, enter the site by navigating the narrow kilometer long Siq, or canyon Siq to visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, the Theatre, all the way down to the Nymphium and Qaser El- Bent. You then have some free time on your own to explore further before returning to the main gate and to your hotel for dinner and overnight at 3* hotel.
Day 3: Petra Second Day – Wadi Rum 4x4 Safari
Breakfast at the hotel, then retrun to Petra to explore on your own the sites you may have missed on the first day, such as the Monastery or High Place of Sacrifice. In the afternoon, return to the main gate to meet our driver and continue the drive to Wadi Rum where you will enjoy a 3 hour 4x4 sunset safari. Dinner and camping overnight in Wadi Rum.
Day 4: Wadi Rum Hiking – Madaba – Nebo – Amman
Breakfast at the camp and at: 7:00 am start with 3 hours hiking in the area. We will then contunue to Mt Nebo and retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 year before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived some place special. On a clear day Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen. A memorial in Moses’ honor can be found at the entrance to the early Byzantine Christian church where Moses is believed to have died. After a short drive, arrive to "The City of Mosaics" - Madaba—to view the oldest preserved ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land dating back to the 6th century BC located within the Church of St. George. After this amazing day, we will take you back to Amman
