Day 1:  Amman Airport  -  Amman

Day 2: Amman City Tour  -  Madaba - Mt. Nebo -  Petra

Breakfast at the hotel and then meet our driver at 8am to start the Amman City Tour. Visit the Citadel and the Roman Theatre in down town Amman. Continue to Madaba "The City of Mosaics" where we will explore the St. George Church of the 6th century A.D and enjoy the Mosaics of the Holy Land Map. We will have some time to visit Madaba School of Mosaics.  After a short drive, we arrive to Mount Nebo to retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 year before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived some place special.  On a clear day Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen.  A memorial in Moses’ honor can be found at the entrance to the early Byzantine Christian church where Moses is believed to have died. End the day in Petra with dinner and overnight at Amra Palace 3* or similar.

Day 3: Petra - Wadi Rum

Breakfast at the hotel, then begin the day exploring the legendary Rose Red city of Petra. This city of the Nabataean’s was built over 2,000 years ago and lays hidden in a huge rocky mountain accessed via a high and narrow gorge. With monumental facades and spectacular buildings sculpted out of solid rock, this breathtaking site has been described by UNESCO as "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage," and also one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrange your entrance fees and hire for you a private English speaking site guide to explore the main attractions of the lower part of the city for 2.5 to 3 hours. You and the guide will start from the main gate all the way through the Siq to visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, the Theatre, all the way down to the Nympheom and Qaser El- Bent.  You then have some free hours on your own to explore further. After, return to the main gate to meet our driver who will tranasfer you to Wadi Rum, enjoy the experience of camping, dinner and overnight at Caravans Campsite.

Day 4: Wadi Rum - Dead Sea

Breakfast at the camp, then experience the solitude and magic of the desert landscape during one of the best rides of your life – on a 3-hour 4x4 safari.  Towering castle-like mountains and beautifully colored cliffs can be seen in every direction, and you can easily imagine that Lawrence of Arabia might come galloping around the next corner on his camel.   Experience the magic of the desert, the sand dunes and some of the ancient inscriptions , rocky formations and natural bridges. After, we continue to the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight at Dead Sea Spa Resort 4* or similar.

Day 5: Dead Sea - Bethany - Amman

We will have free morning until around 12.00 noon in the hotel of the Dead Sea to enjoy the sea and the pools and then meet our driver who will drive to visit Bethany.  This archaeological site is one of the most important biblical discoveries in the world. Excavations began in 1996 and have already uncovered more than 20 churches, caves and baptismal pools dating from the Roman and Byzantine periods. Archaeologists are assured this is where John the Baptist lived, Jesus was baptized, and the first five apostles met. The path leading to the Jordan River transform from a dry desert into a tropical oasis and it becomes clear why Prophet Jeremiah described it as "the jungle of the Jordan". After, we continue to Amman for dinner and overnight at Larsa Hotel 3* or similar.

Day 6: Amman -  Jerash - Ajloun -  Amman Airport

Depending on late departure, we leave Amman at 7.30 AM and continue to one of Jordan's MUST-SEE sites - Jerash -  so well preserved that you can almost hear the banter of the merchants and the creaking of chariot wheels along the cobblestoned streets.  With a 2 hour guided tour, explore the breathtaking arches, temples and baths in an amazing state of preservation and completeness. After, w will transfer you to Amman Airport for departure.
