Itinerary


Day 1: Sheikh Hussein Bridge  - Jerash, private guided tour - Amman


Meet you upon arrival at Sheikh Hussein border crossing to Jordan, and assist with Jordan visa and border controls. After, continue to visit Jerash where we will explore the remarkable Roman ruins of Jerash, so well preserved that you can almost hear the banter of the merchants and the creaking of chariot wheels along the cobblestoned streets. Afte, we transfer you to Amman for dinner and overnight at 3* hotel .


Day 2: Amman City Tour - Madaba- Mount Nebo - Petra


Breakfast at the hotel, then our day starts with a panoramic view of Amman, capital of Jordan and formerly named Philadelphia by the Macedonians. With our tour guide, we will explore the center of downtown, traditional markets, some of its churches and mosques, Roman Theater and some of the suburbs of the city and the Citadel of Amman. Then we continue to Madaba, known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, to visit the Church of St. George and the oldest mosaic cartographic map of the Holy Land. We will then have lunch in Madaba.  Next, continue to Mount Nebo to retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 year before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived some place special.  On a clear day Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen.  A memorial in Moses’ honor can be found at the entrance to the early Byzantine Christian church where Moses is believed to have died.  At the end of this day we transfer to Petra for dinner and overnight at  3* hotel .


Day 3: Petra, private guided tour  -  Arava Border (Aqaba/Eilat)


After breakfast at the hotel, meet our tour guide and continue to Petra for the site visit. The guide will arrange your entrance fees and start exploring the main attractions of the lower part of the city.  You and the guide will start from the main gate all the way through the Siq to visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, the Theatre, all the way down to the Nympheom and Qaser El- Bent.  Have lunch inside Petra at Al Basin Restaurant, then you have some free hours on your own to explore further places such as the Monastery.  At the end of the day, we return to the main gate, meet our driver and guide, and continue to Arava border for departure with assist.

**Groups of 5 and more will be escorted by a bordder to border guide.
