Day 1: Amman Airport - Amman
Our representative will meet you upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman and assist with your visa to Jordan. After, the rep will escort you outside to meet up with our driver who will transfer you to Amman for dinner and overnight at 3* hotel.
Day 2: Amman/ City tour of Amman - Jerash, guided - Amman
Breakfast at the hotel, then our driver will meet you to start the Amman City Tours. Visit the ruins of Amman’s Roman Theatre, the Citadel, the Umayyad Palace and the Archaeological and Folklore Museums. We will then continue to Jerash, so well preserved that you can almost hear the banter of the merchants and the creaking of chariot wheels along the cobblestoned streets. With a 2 hour guided tour, explore the breathtaking arches, temples and baths in an amazing state of preservation and completeness. After, we drive back to Amman for dinner and overnight at 3* hotel.
Day 3: Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Dead Sea
Breakfast at the hotel, check out, meet our driver and then we continue to Madaba where we will visit the St. George Church of the 6th century A.D and explore the Mosaic Map of the Holy Land. Next stop is Mount Nebo to retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 year before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived some place special. On a clear day Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen. A memorial in Moses’ honor can be found at the entrance to the early Byzantine Christian church where Moses is believed to have died. End the day at the Dead Sea with dinner and overnight at 3* resort.
Day 4: Dead Sea - Dana Reserve - Petra
Breakfast at the hotel, free morning, check out around 10.00 AM and then meet our driver and guide who will join your for a day trip to Dana Nature Reserve where you will enjoy one of the best trekking trails of Shaq Al Reesh ffor 3 to 4 hours of hiking (with lunch during the hike). After, we continue to Petra for dinner and overnight at 3* hotel.
Day 5: Petra Tour from the back way with Little Petra
Breakfast at the hotel, then meet our guide and driver and continue to the Little Petra area, one of the suburbs of Petra, to start the day trekking the back/secret way to the Monastary. Start the trek on a trail which initially winds across open farmland. For the first two hours of the trek the path contours around the mountain ridge with fantastic views to Wadi Araba desert. Then the climb starts as the narrow route, open to sheer drop-offs, leads to perhaps Petra's most awe-inspiring monument, the Monastery. We will then walk down the well-worn Nabataean’s steps into the heart of Petra, where we will visit Facades Street, Urn Tomb, the Theatre, Colonnaded Street, Royal Tombs and Qasr al Bent before having lunch near the amphitheatre. Then we continue trekking until we reach the Treasury and exit from Siq to the main gate. Dinner and overnight at 3* hotel in Petra.
Day 6: Petra, second day – self-exploration
Breakfast at the hotel, then return to the Petra site for a free day to explore on your own. Dinner and overnight in Petra at 3* hotel.
Day 7: Petra - Wadi Rum
Breakfast at the hotel, check out and then we drive Wadi Rum, where you will enjoy a 3 hour 4x4 safari and explore some parts of the main attractions of the desert. Enjoy driving over the sand dunes and explore some of the ancient inscriptions. We will stop for a lunch (boxed) and have tea over the fire. After, we will explore more of the desert landscape during a 3 – 4 hike tour with our guide. After, head to the camp for dinner and overnight camping.
Day 8: Wadi Rum - Aqaba
Breakfast at the camp, free morning and then we continue to the charming resort city of Aqaba where traditional and modern culture mix. The afternoon is free to explore the many coffee shops, eateries, spice markets and unique shopping areas. For adventure, there is opportunity to explore Aqaba's underwater world. Scuba dive or snorkel in the pristine waters of the Gulf of Aqaba and marvel at some of the most spectacular and unspoiled reefs in the region. For a more laid-back experience, sail the shores of the Gulf during a day or sunset cruise and view Aqaba from a truly unique vantage point. Dinner and overnight at 3* hotel in Aqaba.
Day 9: Aqaba - Amman Airport
Breakfast at the hotel, then according to the flight details, we will transfer you (4-hour driving) to Amman Airport for departure.
*In order to make use of the frist day, we recommend to choose later morning/afternoon arrival flight, so you could explore some more of Jordan.
**Please consider , it is 4-hour driving from Aqaba to Amman airport on the last day, so we recommend also scheduling your departure flight on late afternoon/early evening!
