Day 2: Amman- Mt Nebo - Madaba – Karak –Petra
Begin the day touring Madaba, to see the world’s largest collection of ancient mosaics and visit the St. George Church with its famous 6th Century map of the Holy Land. Continue on to Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land, here you can take in the wonderful view of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and (if it's clear) Jerusalem. We drive via the King's way to arrive Karak Castle, the famous Crusader castle built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. End of the day we drive to Petra, check in the hotel, dinner and overnight in a 3* hotel.
Day 3: Petra one of the seven wonders - Dead Sea, overnight
Visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World, the rose red city of Petra. With your English speaking guide, walk through the Siq, passing the remains of Nabataean shrines, water channels, wall carvings and some of the original paving stones. As you exit the Siq, gaze in amazement at the magnificent Treasury carved out of the rock face; explore the Street of Facades, Theatre, Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, Byzantine Church, Winged Lion’s Temple, Qasr al Bint, and the Petra Museum where your guide will leave you. Climb to the Monastery and/or High Place of Sacrifice on your own. Transfer to the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight, at 4* Hotel.
Day 4: Dead Sea – Amman Airport*
Breakfast at the hotel. According to the departure flight, transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure & farewell
* Individuels (1 - 6) people will have private site guide in Petra
**Groups of 7 and more will be escorted by a bordder to border guide.
