2Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Dead Sea - Petra
After breakfast at the hotel, continue to Madaba to view the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Land dating back to the 6th century BC located within the Church of St. George. Madaba is not only famous for mosaics but also for colorful, hand-woven carpets, After a short drive, arrive to Mt. Nebo and retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 year before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived some place special. On a clear day Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen. A memorial in Moses’ honor can be found at the entrance to the early Byzantine Christian church on the site where Moses is believed to have died. Next stop is the Dead Sea - the world's largest natural spa and one of the most unique spots in the world. The water and mud of the Dead Sea have been recognized for their healing properties since Biblical times. Experience the strange sensation of floating effortlessly - its mystical waters contain so much salt and minerals, it is impossible to sink! A truly unique experience for both body and soul. Enjoy lunch, and then continue to Petra for overnight.
3Petra, on a horseback
Breakfast at the hotel then begin the day riding in the Rose Red city of Petra. Petra is a UNESCO world heritage site and was recently voted one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. It is the legacy of the Nabataean's, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2000 years ago. Enter the site by navigating the narrow kilometer long Siq, or canyon. The walls of the Siq are bursting with color from deep pink to purple to ocher. The path abruptly ends at an opening that reveals Petra’s most famous monument - the Treasury - carved into shear rock and towering over 40 meters high. Explore many of the over 800 individual monuments including buildings, tombs, baths, funerary halls, temples, arched gateways, and colonnaded streets, that were carved from the kaleidoscopic sandstone by the inhabitants centuries ago. Continue the ride up to Jabal Haron, better known as Aaron's Mountain. Although wherever you go in Petra, this soaring mountain is in constant view, far fewer people have made this journey to the top. It is the highest peak in the area and where the tomb of Moses' brother can be found. The sweeping views of Wadi Araba, Petra and the Monastery are absolutely breathtaking. Take the return ride back down the mountain and then have lunch inside Petra. Later afternoon, return to the hotel for overnight.
4Petra, Little Petra on horseback
After breakfast at the hotel, return to Petra to explore on foot the sites not visited on the first day. In the afternoon, continue horse riding through the stunning mountains of the ‘suburbs” of Petra. This adventure journeys through the area where there is a magical view over Wadi Araba, Petra, and Little Petra. Visit the Neolithic village of Beidah (the Suburb of the ancient world, where human used to live 500 BC). Stop for a picnic lunch in the mountains and after meet with the local Bedouin, have tea with them and then ride off into the sunset to the camp in Little Petra. At the camp, enjoy an authentic Bedouin dinner and listen to traditional Bedouin stories around the campfire.
5Petra and Surrounding, on a horseback
Breakfast at the camp, then spend a full day riding around Petra mountains in an area called El- Hai, and explore the backcountry with its old houses, amazing mountain landscape and pristine springs. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the mountains and Bedouin tea around the fire. At the end of the day, return to the 3* hotel in Petra.
6Petra - Wadi Rum
Breakfast at the hotel, then In the morning, transfer to Wadi Rum. In the village of Diseh, mount up again for some nomadic desert riding to discover Umm Ishrin mountain. Imposing, towering rocks and crags - God’s skyscrapers - rise up from the desert floor and the silence seems to thunder through the canyons. One can easily imagine that Lawrence of Arabia might come galloping around the next corner. Stop for a picnic lunch in the desert then continue the ride toward Umm Ejel mountain. End the day at a camp setup deep inside the desert, watch the most amazing sunset in the world, and eat dinner Bedouin-style around the campfire. This is without doubt a time when heaven and earth come closer together. Dinner and overnight camping in Wadi Rum.
7wadi rum
Breakfast at the camp, then start the day riding to the Great Sand Dunes. Continue to the site where the Nufaishia inscriptions of camel caravans, hunting warriors and various animals are carved into the stone. Gallop along to Al-Qsair, also known as Lawrence's House, where the legendary Lawrence of Arabia stayed during the Arab Revolt. Explore the area and then have a picnic lunch before continuing the ride to Al Mzailgeh canyon. End the day's journey camping near Al Mzailgeh and feast on another traditional Bedouin dinner around the campfire. Dinner and overnight camping in Wadi Rum.
8wadi rum - aqaba
In the morning after breakfast, it's time to leave the trails behind and continue the drive to the charming Red Sea resort of Aqaba for a free day. Explore the many coffee shops, eateries, and unique shopping areas. For more adventure, there is opportunity to explore Aqaba's underwater world. Scuba dive or snorkel in the pristine waters of the Gulf of Aqaba and marvel at some of the most spectacular and unspoiled reefs in the region. For a more laid-back experience, sail the shores of the Gulf during a day or sunset cruise and view Aqaba from a truly unique vantage. Overnight.
9aqaba - amman
Breakfast at the hotel. then continue exploring Aqaba in the morning. In the afternoon, we will continue to Amman with overnight.
10Amman - Amman Airport*
Breakfast at the hotel, then according to your flight details, we will transfer you to Amman Airport for departure.
