Amman to Jerash Day Escape

Our driver will greet you at your Amman hotel to commence the Amman City Tour. Explore the Citadel featuring remnants of the Hercules Temple, the Umayyad Palace, and the Archaeological Museum. In the downtown area, witness the grand Roman Theatre and peruse the traditional souks.

Subsequently, we'll journey to Jerash, a remarkably preserved Roman city often likened to Pompeii of the East. Established by Alexander the Great and thriving post-Roman conquest, Jerash was a prominent Decapolis city in northern Jordan. Visit Hadrian's Arch, constructed in 130 AD to commemorate Emperor Hadrian's visit. Pass by the Hippodrome, capable of hosting 15,000 spectators, and marvel at the impressive Forum. Continue the exploration to the Temple of Artemis, the Colonnaded Street, and the Nymphium. Finally, return to your Amman hotel after a day filled with historical marvels.
